Cosmic Gift
This is a careful enlargement of The Gift. The basic nails were dark galvanized china nails and this allowed for the addition of highlighting which enhanced the perspective and gave the shadows more substance.
The background was stubborn and after sanding the plaster flat two times a proper Venetian texture appeared. This is one of the top ten so far. It is a fitting nail tribute to the greatest master of all.
